Our School

Pine Hill School opened in 1872 and has a long tradition of providing a quality education for year 1-6 tamariki in the Pine Hill area. The school is located in the heart of Pine Hill on a large site that enables tamariki to learn in spacious environments and enjoy expansive grounds.

At Pine Hill School, we truly value the foundations of literacy and numeracy, actively integrating a variety of rich learning experiences into our classroom programmes. Beyond academics, we believe in the importance of a holistic education, championing both sporting and cultural activities to foster well-rounded individuals.

Our school prides itself on a strong sense of community and belonging, where every person feels valued. Our classes are designed to ensure tamariki learn at the pace and level that best meets their individual needs, fostering an environment where whānau, teachers, and tamariki work together in partnership for collective success.

We celebrate the unique skills and abilities of all tamariki, providing dedicated support for continuous progress, making Pine Hill School a place of learning for everyone in our community. Our vibrant multiculturalism is a source of immense pride, and we actively encourage everyone to celebrate their ethnicity, embracing and learning from our rich diversity.
